Volunteer

The Hidden Valley Race Club relies on club member’s parents to fulfill its mission. From setting gates for practices to timing at Open Cup events, we need your participation! There are many ways you can help the club, and ski racing experience is not a prerequisite.

Once the season starts, we will be sending out Signup Genius invitations for individual weeks to identify practices and Open Cup spots that need to be filled. We also expect our parents to help conduct USSA races. These races are hosted locally at Seven Springs (Western Pennsylvania Ski Club) and Wisp Mountain (Deep Creek Winter Sports Team). As a USSA ski club with racers in these events, we are obligated to provide gate keepers, and we are encouraged to help with setup and teardown of the courses.
