HVRC has agreed to run a ski swap on Saturday, December 1st. The ski swap will be held in the Avalanche Room in the main lodge at Hidden Valley. Deb Hessinger is heading up a group of volunteers to run the event. More volunteers are always welcome. You can contact Deb or Ralph; we’ll be happy to have the help. This is also an opportunity for our racing community to sell ski gear that no longer fits. Check out your ski equipment inventory and bring items you wish to sell to the swap!

Thanks to all for your prayers and support for John Denard and Kevin Wiley. Both are reportedly doing well. HVRC extends its prayers and best wishes to Debbie Denard for a successful recovery from her recent medical issues.
We are making a schedule change for our early season Parents meeting and pizza party. The Parents meeting and pizza party is now scheduled for Saturday, December 15th. Also added to the race schedule are the Special Olympics Races on February 11 & 12 (Monday & Tuesday).
Many thanks to all who donated funds for our new finish hut. Special thanks to Eric Hessinger for his involvement and persistence that have really allowed this project to become reality. Our appreciation also goes to Hidden Valley for their support and input. Materials for the hut are on order and we anticipate that it will be completed in time for the Open Cup Race series.
