Five HVRC racers competed in the U12/U14 Pennsylvania State Derby at Roundtop last weekend. All of them finished runs in both GS and Slalom. Congratulations to R. Bigatel (U14) as she finishes 13th overall and earns an invite to the Piche Invitational at Gunstock, NH. She will be racing with brother Clark (U12) who beat about half the field and finished 2nd overall among U12 male racers! Congratulations to him as he earns an invite to the U12/U14 Piche Races as well. S. Rost (U12) finishes all of her runs for the 2nd year in a row while competing as one of the youngest racers at the event. J. Allegra (U14) and W. Wanovich (U14) made solid runs and also led our group in the Skills Quest competition.
On Saturday, March 16th we will need to clean out the race room and organize our equipment for the summer. All personal items must be removed from the race room by the 16th. If you are available, please join us about 1PM. This should only take about half an hour.
Those with keys to the race room are requested to return the keys to me by March 17th. If you will not be on the mountain, please arrange to have another race club member get the key to me.
Hidden Valley has announced that 2013-2014 season passes are on sale. Those racers planning to join the club next season should definitely get a season pass. Please be reminded that all racers attending HVRC practices must have a valid lift ticket or season pass. Club membership does not include lift tickets.
